Tributes

I'm So Sorry, thats all i can say

Posted by Patrick Kelley on November 26, 2004 10:39 AM

What it is
It is more than wrong
It is evil
It is not a crusade
It is an act of war
It did not happen to New York
It happened to America
It did not happen up state
It happened down the street
Faceless people did not die
Our
mothers,
fathers,
brothers,
and sisters
were murdered
It did not happen on the East Coast
It happened in our backyard
It did not happen to skyscrapers
It happened at work
It was not aimed at the Government
It was aimed at US...

may god bless all that died and may god help us all who lived.

It happened to me, you and everyone else.

Neilie, we knew each other in high school. I have fond memories of a red-haired, freckle-faced tennis player that drove a beat up orange Volvo. You had spunk and attitude and balanced the line between a stereotypically high school snobby crowd and real crowd - you threw a party at your parent's house and proved that sensability with a style that was uniquely yours. You made an impression on all of us that day. I haven't seen or spoken to you since high school, but I'm sure you extended that quality for life with love and surrounded yourself and others with the same. Rest in peace, with fond memories of a friendship from long ago...
