It wasn't until I heard la musica de Adan Sanchez and the legacy that he carried with him...thanks to his dad, Chalino Sanchez. I think paying a tribute is like saying that a person is has gone away, but he is still with us. I'd like to think that he is in a place where one day we will be and that he will be like that brother who is living far away and that one day we will join him. When I first saw Adan singing on TV I was like this cutie can sing...he wore a nice suit and carried himself really good.....Many people said after his passing that he was very HUMBLE...and looking back on that interview I can see what they meant....His passing is very sad....so young and with so much still needed to be done....I'm not a big Spanish music listener...but after I heard more about him I found that he was a proud MEXICANO...proud of his roots, and loved what he did!!...A real good model for the younger RAZA to see and learn that we all need to be proud of our roots, and not be ashamed when our Parents/Familia plays there favorite Spanish Rolas. Me deepest sympathy to the SANCHEZ family. May God give you the strength to get through this hard time...His spirit and music will live FOREVER!

I know that the situation is very devastating, but God knows why he does what he does. Either way, I think Adan is happier now. He was alway holding on to his dad's memory, and now it's not a memory for him anymore, now it's his reality. I live in Houston, TX, and I saw Adan when he came to "El Rodeo San Miguel". He was so nice...while he was on stage he gave my friend Lupe (who also loves him) and I his autograph, and he smiled and posed for a picture I took of him. Not all singers are like that. He was a great guy and we will never forget that!!!!!
