Soundarya
Soundarya, a South Indian movie star, died on on April 17 in a plane crash near Bangalore. She was 32.
Soundarya recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is seeking another term in national elections. She was traveling to the adjoining state of Andhra Pradesh to campaign for the party when the four-seater Cessna 180 caught fire and crashed minutes after takeoff from a Jakkur airstrip. Her brother Amarnath, BJP worker Ramesh Kadam and pilot Joy Phillips were also killed.
The daughter of the Bangalore-based producer/director Satyanarayana, Soundarya gave up a career in medicine to become an actress. She adopted only one name and made her first film in 1992. Over the next 12 years, Soundarya appeared in nearly 100 movies. Although she avoided racy roles, Soundarya worked opposite leading actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikant.
In 2003, Soundarya won the Nandi Award, the most prestigious prize in Telugu cinema.

although i never personally knew soundarya, i felt so saddened after hearing about her death. its really wierd how a person who is not related to you in anyway can make such a great impact on you. this shows us that everyday of our lives must be cherished and lvied to the fullest. heres to all of us.

Posted by Nisha on February 26, 2005 9:02 AM11 years back i was mentally devastated after Divya's death,my parents had to take me to a psychiatrist to treat me,three years after taking councelling i finally recovered.i was not a fan of Divya yet her death hit me this hard.in 1999 my mother passed away,everyone thought how will i react now?God has teached me to survive trough Divya's death,this time i had to take care of my dad & brother.may be so i recovered very soon.few people think that people like us are fools,imotional etc i have only one thing to say to them.'thank God u didn't have to go through what people like us went through'we are not fools but we have emerged to be probably better human beings,yes we cried for others,because we felt for them & atleast i am proud of that.my condolences to soundarya's family & Friends.may God bless you.

PLEASE READ THIS!! IT'S TRUE! IT HAPPENED TO ME! SOME RESEMBLANCES OF HER INFORMED ME BEFORE HER DEATH THAT SHE IS GOING TO LEAVE ME. BUT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT MESSAGE. READ IT. I had a different experience who never had. I got message before she expired that she is going to leave this world. But I didn't understand that. Later I was shocked to hear that it has become true. Seeing this blog, now I want to share something. I still remember those days. NOW I AM REVEALING it. I used to ADORE her very deeply and deeply since 1991. Never thought of any physical attraction or infatuation but a deep and deeper, maintained a psychological affection thinking that she is mine. I realized that I'm in love with her, truly and madly. I didn't thought or see her like an actress but only as a good personality whom I adore and love. I NEVER USED TO SEE HER FILMS. My friends used to make ridiculous comments on me about this. I used to dream that she is with me always and always and we spent many fun and lovely moments in my dreams. I used to share every moment of my life. After she got married, I STARTED TO COME OUT OF THIS SLOWLY BECAUSE SHE IS MARRIED. It took many days for me quit from this impression and looking at her normally without any dreams. Dreaming about her was almost completely stopped. THEN SUDDENLY ON ONE DAY--- It was 2005, 15 March, I saw her in my dream. I still remember, it is her, sitting beside me, holding my hand, crying and crying and telling to me, "I'm leaving, you take care of yourself. I'm leaving, you take care of yourself". When I woke up, I was happy that again she was in my dreams after so many days, but didn't understand why she was crying and telling like that "I'm leaving you take care of yourself" holding my hand. TWO DAYS AFTER, when I'm working and rushing for deadlines, my colleague told that she died. I couldn't believe. When I saw myself, about the news, something in my mind blew. I heard in my mind "BOOM" for a few seconds I couldn't see, my eyes are open but everything was black and I almost felt paralyzed. I was silent for many hours. I was even unable to cry. My mind went blank. I was doing the things with my eyes. My mind was completely off. I recollected my dream and then I understood the message I got. But it was late. Yes some force with her resemblance has informed me that she is going to die, but I didnt understand that. I was silent, silent and silent. I started studying bhagwatgeeta to control my mind. It took around two weeks for me to get control on my mind. When I said this to my family, my father said, "true love will give such kind of messages". The effect of her death gave me such a blow in my mind, that it made me an extra silent guy. AFter reading bhagwadgeetha, whatever I look, seemed to be normal and nothing special. No attractions, no attachments, no desires and no hopes. Everything is normal to me.
Now I'm married and had a kid. But whenever I hear or see something about her will make me silent for sometime, recollecing this experience, which I didn't disclosed till now and I feel guilty even today, that the message was unclear for me. There is some space in my mind, still, where she is living but I'm willingly avoiding it, to live in my real life.
This is not a fictitous story and I DON'T NEED TO CONVINCE ANYONE, BUT WANT TO GET RELIEF, MENTALLY, BY DISCLOSING THIS WHICH I AM CARRYING TILL TODAY.
Sorry I typed the date wrong. The day I got that dream was on April 15, 2004 two days before she expired. YES it is true.

No doubt Soundarya falls in to that class.I think one of the apsarasas like Ramba Urvasi menaka retired and Indra wanted soudarya to fill the post asked her back in to indhra sabha. There is no chance in the near future to see a heroine stay in the field that many years even.

simply great didnt did a single mistake.
some comments are that she shouldnt enter into politics but she was fully influenced by RSS from her childhood bcoz her family is related to it and they are active members.. its not her mistake.. her father is already a member b4 her birth its not her wrong and she lead a perfect life..gud daughter,gud sister and even gud wife for that 1 yr
