Mark Wells, who was convicted of four murders in Ontario, Canada, died Saturday of natural causes. He was 42.
Wells was in the process of killing Annette Norman when her sons Richard, 8, and Christopher, 7, walked in and witnessed the crime. Wells stabbed the boys and then slit their throats (one of the boys was still holding a bag of candy when his body was found).
Wells was also found guilty of strangling Christine Tansley, whose body was found in her blood-spattered apartment the day before the Norman murders.
Wells started serving his life sentence in Ontario in 1991 but was moved to the Matsqui Institution in British Columbia to receive treatment for a lengthy terminal illness, and to be closer to his relatives.

I went to broadway public school with christopher and richard, I remember there was a picture dedicated to them in the front hall. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to it.

Isn’t it nice that he was moved to be close to his family. Now all the victims family have to look at is a grave where their family members lay after being brutally murdered.

Yes he DID do it!!! I grew up with him & he was anything BUT “innocent” even as a young person. He molested my sister! Only god knows who else was damaged by this SICK ANIMAL! I can’t say who but I’ll tell you this much : Not only was I at the trial but someone very close to me was told by mark himself that he did it. He even BRAGGED about it in a bar afterwards to this person. I’ll leave it at this: thank god that this MONSTER has been expired!! My heart goes out to cristines and annettes familys.

I know some of his background and it was a sad way to live.I don’t condon what he did, but I understand he accepted Christ before he died and hope it brought him some peace from all the turmoil. I know the victims families suffered but also his family and only God can bring peace.When you bring a child into the world it is your full-time job to mold them in the right direction.
I had many a fight with Mark , even 3days before the murders. He was a very unhappy person and had many emotional problems. I kicked his ass 2 times in one night and he would always come back for more.. His last fight will be to get through the pearly gates. RIP Mark
Yes, you have a responsibility to mold your children not to murder them in cold blood. He may have excepted Christ but did Christ except him I hope not because I would like to meet him one day (Christ) and I couldn’t look him in the face if people like that are “forgiven”. If you feel remorse for this mans death you should be ashamed. Well said. If people are easily forgiven for killing children and molesting them then I dont want to have everlasting life around such filth. I am athiest so really none of the god nonsense applies to me. I can’t lie to god and say I beleive anyways. He would know I am lying. I grew up living next door to Annette and her parents and brothers. I was there when the childen was born and when the grew up to the ages that they were. Her family is still dealing with there loss eveyday and they will never be forgotten, they will always be in our hearts. My parents are still living next door to Annettes brothes and they still talk about them alot, they will never be forgotten, when they heard that Mark died, they were so happy that hes finally gone and he cannot distory any more lives, hope he ROTTES in HELL and get what he deserves.

When looking at the worlds most generous and loving and you do not see your self you have denied who you are. Likewise when looking at worst evil that there is in the world and say that’s is not me you deny who you are. Only be knowing who we do we stand a chance against real enemy ourselves.
I was friends with Richard and Christopher before they changed schools . I feel honored to have known them and their mom .
I didn’t see them for about two years cause I switched schools too .But I did see them a couple days before the murders happened . I thank God I was able to see them that one last night .
I don’t care how rough Mark’s life was….its no excuse for killing all those people . He was a scum-bag P.O.S who didn’t even get close to what he truly deserved . That monster stole the lives of four innocent people and devastated everyone who knew them or heard about it .
